Myntra Appoints Nupur Nagpal as Chief HR Officer

Walmart-owned online fashion merchant myntra has appointed Nupur Nagpal as its chief human resources officer (CHRO) and has promoted Raghu Krishnananda who was the chief technology officer, to be its chief technology and product officer (CTPO).

About Myntra

Myntra was launched by Mukesh Bansal, Ashutosh Lawania, and Vineet Saxena around 2007. Myntra caught quite a successful run before it was obtained by Flipkart in May 2014 for Rs 2000 crore, money, and a stock deal to help the latter tap into the fashion space. The parent establishment of Myntra is Flipkart. It is an Indian online shopping website that gets premium brands under its umbrella and delivers its customers the easiest shopping experience ever.

About Nupur Nagpal After completing her PG diploma in HR, Nagpal filed her skills in the HR field working with various major brands such as Vodafone, Tata AIG, WNS Global Services, and Virgin Mobile (Now part of Tata Group). She started her career with Vodafone, managing the recruiting procedure for its different processes.

Nupur Nagpal will be responsible for leading the HR roadmap towards building and scaling the organization as well as enriching Myntra’s human capital. Nupur Nagpal joins Myntra from Sprinklr, where she was guiding the people to work for JAPAC markets as VP-HR. Her past experience contains leadership roles with Prione Group of Companies and Amazon in addition to times with Tata Group, Virgin Mobile, and WNS Global Services in the company of others. An HR veteran, Nupur has over 20 years of experience in initiating and delivering organizational change, culture building, and delivering sustained business results across the e-commerce, telecom, and insurance industries.
